Environmental Diversified Services (EDS) Names Doug Weaver as Director of Commercial Real Estate – Business Development

Environmental Diversified Services (EDS), a leading national provider of commercial remediation, restoration, and specialty cleaning services, is proud to announce the promotion of Doug Weaver to Director of Commercial Real Estate – Business Development.
With over 15 years of experience in corporate real estate leadership and strategic client management, Doug brings unmatched industry insight, operational acumen, and a deep network across commercial real estate markets. In his new role, Doug will lead EDS’s business development efforts across the commercial property sector, focusing on building high-value relationships with REITs, asset managers, property management firms, and developers nationwide.

Doug joins this role after holding senior leadership positions at JLL, where he managed corporate real estate operations for clients such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, L3Harris, Johnson Controls, and Alight Solutions. His ability to deliver high-impact solutions, manage complex portfolios, and navigate compliance-sensitive environments makes him an ideal leader for EDS’s next phase of growth.
Prior to JLL, Doug served as Vice President of Asset Management at Branch Banking and Trust (now Truist), overseeing a national portfolio of over 900 properties and leading enterprise-wide real estate initiatives. His leadership experience also includes roles at CIM Group, and NAI Southern Real Estate.
A graduate of Wake Forest University’s Calloway School of Business, Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Enterprise Management. During his collegiate years, he was a four-year varsity football letterman and recognized on the ACC All-Academic Team. He is also an active member of multiple Industry Associations including BOMA, IFMA, IREM, and CoreNet Global.
