Position Summary

Environmental Diversified Services (EDS) is a nationally recognized leader in
commercial restoration, specialty cleaning, and environmental remediation. With a
30+ year track record of protecting properties and preserving reputations, EDS
serves mission-critical environments—healthcare, commercial real estate, and multi-
family properties—with round-the-clock response and precision-driven solutions.
As part of our continued growth across the Southeast, we’re seeking an experienced
results-driven Business Development Manager to focus on expanding our footprint
in the Commercial Real Estate and Healthcare sectors in our home state of North
Carolina.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We’re not here to train someone on what remediation is. You’ve either sold it or
bought it as a profession. You know how high the stakes are when a facility floods,
mold spreads, or regulatory inspectors loom. You speak the language of property
managers, GCs, and hospital facility engineers/directors, you’ve built trusted
relationships in these circles and know how to turn problems into opportunities and
complete jobs. You understand urgent timelines, compliance pressures, and what it
takes to keep facilities operational when disaster strikes.

Role & Responsibility
  • Develop new business with hospitals, senior living, commercial property managers, and GCs.
  • Selling emergency remediation & specialty cleaning services: water, fire, mold, biohazard, terminal cleaning, post-construction cleanup.
  • Be a trusted partner to our clients with tailored solutions in water, mold, fire, and biohazard remediation.
  • Build strategic relationships with GCs, facilities managers, and executive buyers
  • Leverage your network and industry knowledge to close strategic accounts.
  • Represent a brand known for 30+ years of excellence across high-stakes, compliance-driven environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Hunt and Close: Proactively identify, pitch, and secure new remediation and specialty cleaning contracts in healthcare and commercial real estate verticals.
  • Sell With Authority: Confidently represent EDS’s capabilities—emergency water extraction, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration, bio-waste cleanup, post-construction cleaning, and more.
  • Build Pipeline: Develop referral relationships with general contractors, hospital systems, senior living communities, and commercial property owners.
  • Leverage Industry Knowledge: Bring your experience to assess client needs and tailor high-value service packages.
  • Collaborate for Results: Work with our operations team to ensure seamless handoffs from signed deal to service delivery.
  • Drive Accountability: Track sales performance against KPIs, maintain CRM discipline, and contribute to revenue targets.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience selling or professionally buying remediation, restoration, or specialty cleaning services — or working as a professional buyer of such services in CRE or healthcare environments.
  • Strong network of contacts in facilities, real estate, or healthcare administration across North Carolina.
  • Deep understanding of compliance-driven environments (Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA).
  • Confident presenting to executives, walking job sites, and responding to urgent client needs.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, performance metrics, and managing sales cycles from cold outreach to signed agreement.
  • Strong sales drive and the ability to guide deals from intro to signature.
  • A reputation for trust, follow-through, and professional polish.
  • Confidence in closing deals and working cross-functionally.
  • A strong book of business or relationships in CRE or healthcare.
